William David "Bill" Willett Jr.

William David “Bill” Willett Jr., 88 of Sanford passed away Friday October 9, 2020.

Services will be private.

Bill was born in Lee County to the late William David Willett Sr. and Blanche Carter Willett. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ann Beal Willett, siblings Gilbert Willett, Ernest Willett, and Ralph Willett.

Bill was an Army Veteran and fought in the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement he worked as for Carolina Well & Pump, Pomona Pipe and Piedmont Natural Gas.

Bill is survived by his son David Willett and wife Heather of Cameron; granddaughter Brooke Willett of Cameron. His longtime companion Wilma Williams of Sanford.  Several nephews and one niece.
