William Chester Smith Jr., 65, of Sanford passed away Monday July 31, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday August 5, 2023, at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents William Smith Sr. and Marjorie Pratt Smith; and brother Lawrence Smith.
He is survived by his wife Anna Smith; daughters Michelle Wood and April Smith; grandchildren Dylan Wood, Selena Wood, Natalia Segoviano, Eduardo Segoviano, and William Wood; great grandchildren Larissa Wood, Ezekiel Wood, and Alyanna Matthews; and siblings Paul Smith (Betty), Jim Smith (Sarah), Sue Hayes, Tammy Winchell, and Darleen Crane; and his stepmother Mary Felton (Roger); and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday starting at 1:00 pm.
