William Joseph Horvath

William Joseph Horvath “Billy” age 63 of Cameron North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on October 5,2025. 

He is survived by the love of his life Rebecca “Becky” and their 2 children; Ashley (Nick Ariondo) of Greensboro, NC and Garrett of Port St Lucie, FL. He was the proud and devoted grandfather to Ryan, Nicholas, Taylin, Morgan and Ford. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William “Bill” Horvath and Narcissa “Dixie” Horvath, his sister Kathleen Horvath and brother Robert “Bobby” Horvath. 

Billy was born in Detroit Michigan and grew up in Riverview. The family moved to Lake Worth Florida in 1980 where they owned and operated Paisano’s Pizza n Pasta for over 20 years. He later managed horse racing stables before he and Becky moved to Cameron North Carolina in 2016. There, he established himself as the neighborhood handyman. His passions included fishing, hosting friends and family, coaching his grandson’s little league teams and riding his motorcycle. 

Billy will be most remembered for his big heart, his willingness to help anyone, his humor and the love he had for his family. Forever the life of the party!

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, October 11,2025.
