Virginia Andrew White

Virginia Andrew White, 80, of Carthage passed away on Friday (12/08/23). Graveside services will be held on Wednesday (12/13/23) at 11am at Creekside Community Church cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. White was born to the late Charles Oliver Andrew and Esther Virginia Andrew. Virginia loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was active in her church spending her time in the choir and helping in the food bank and with senior saint events, up until her health prevented her from doing so. She was a dedicated Christian that loved the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Oscar White III, sons Martin Davis and Steven White; grandson Jackson Wood; sister Sue Davie; and brother Charles Andrew Jr.

She is survived by her children Jan Davis of Sanford, Scott White (Cristy) of Gibsonville, Jeanette Wood (Joe) of Carthage, and Randy White of Carthage; grandchildren Crystal Richardson, Brandon Sutton, Eric Sutton, Emily Mulvey, Ashley White, Kaley White, Joe Wood, Jordyn Wood, Gavin White, Harleigh Austin, Mackenzie White, Jenna Davis, Renee Davis, Nick White, Zack White, and Travis Baker; and 9 great grandchildren.
