Thomas "Tom" Griffen Floyd

Thomas Griffen “Tom” Floyd, 62, of Sanford passed away on August 15, 2021. Graveside services will be held Monday August 23, 2021 at Buffalo Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Mr. Floyd was born in Lee Co. the son of Frances M. Floyd and the late Dr. Harold Lindsey Floyd. For many years he worked at Mann’s Hardware and then Lowe’s Home Improvement and was an avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his mother Frances M. Floyd; brothers Jim Floyd (Holly) of Sanford and Lin Floyd (Gwen) of Chesapeake VA; sons David Floyd of Florida and Daniel Floyd of Sanford; and grandchildren Kala Floyd and Matthew Floyd of Southport.
