Steve F Ferrara

Stephen Francis Ferrara, 73, of Sanford, Washington, DC and Minneapolis passed away Tuesday August 6, 2024. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dr. Ferrara was born in Boston, MA a son of the late Stanley Stephen Ferrara and Ruth Virginia Robinson Ferrara. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Ferrara. Steve was a renowned educational research scientist and mentor. He was a truly awesome man who adored his family, all Boston sports, his professional colleagues, his many friends, and music.

Dr. Ferrara is survived by his wife, Susan Trent; daughter, Rachel Sweeney (Brian); son, Sam Ferrara (Jamie), and stepson, William Haben (Emily Alderman); grandchildren, Asher Sweeney, Isla Sweeney, and Levi Ferrara; one brother, Edward Carlson.
