Sheila Smith-Mellon

Sheila Smith-Mellon, 70, of Sanford passed away October 17, 2021.

Funeral services will be held in Knoxville, TN.

Sheila was born in Knoxville, TN, daughter of the late Roy Earl Smith and Julia Ann Underwood Smith. She was preceded in death by her daughter Selena Renee Mellon. Sheila enjoyed reading mysteries, watching movies, singing hymns and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Mellon is survived by daughters, Tina Mellon and her fiancé David Swink of Fuquay Varina, and Julie Mellon Kahre and husband Raymond of Charleston, SC; son Kevin Mellon and wife Lisa Romines of TN; two grandchildren, Alex Kahre and Leah Kahre; two sisters, Debbie Howerton and husband Steve, and Mary Alice Halfacre and husband Scott all of TN.
