Sharon Harrington

Sharon Cagle Harrington, 65 of Sanford passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday May 21,2020 at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrington was born on August 13, 1954 in Washington, DC and raised in Sanford by her parents Paul Albert Cagle Sr and the late Joyce Cagle. She married her high school sweetheart, and was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. Sharon worked with Lee County Public Schools and with Lee County Parks Recreation Services for the Blind.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered and survived by her husband of 48 years Gary W Harrington; her daughters, Heather Harrington Knowles, Holly Harrington Midford (Husband Mark Midford), and Hillary Harrington. Also, her four grandchildren Connor Midford, Madelyn Midford, Emery Harrell, and Cooper Knowles. Surviving family members also include her father, Paul Albert Cagle Sr; brothers Paul (Al) Albert Cagle Jr, Reid Cagle, David Cagle, and sister Sarah C Hall, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Cagle.
