Sara Cole Brown

Sara Cole Brown, 90, of New Bern, formerly of Sanford, peacefully passed away Tuesday November 19, 2024. Services will be private.

Mrs. Brown was born in Lee Co, NC, a daughter of the late Neill A Cole and Virginia King Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bobby Brown, and sisters, Nora Shell and Anne Kelly. Mrs. Brown retired from AT&T, and loved reading and crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Debra Lipman of Smyrna, GA; sons, Terry Brown and wife Valerie of Ladera Ranch, CA and Jimmy Brown of Burlington; three grandchildren, Ashley, Eden, and Megan; and four great grandchildren.
