Roma Jean Capps

Roma Jean Hudnall Capps, 70 of Sanford, formerly of Smithfield, passed away Friday September 20, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at the Bakers Chapel Cemetery in Smithfield.

Roma was born in West Virginia daughter of the late Raymond Hudnall and Novella Sports Wall. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Capps, daughter, Elizabeth Ann McCauley, and her brother, Charlie Hudnall.

Mr. Capps is survived by her daughters, Pam Chastain (Freddy) and Lynn Richardson all of Cameron; son, Max McCauley of Lillington; step children, Jimmy Capps and Sandy Capps each of Smithfield; grandchildren, Aaron Chastain, Morgan Chastain and Nolan Wester; four step grandchildren; one sister, Nita Schoolcraft (Kevin) of WV; brother, Clark Hudnall (Sara) of WV.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm Wednesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
