Robert Lawrence "Bobby" Brown

Robert Lawrence “Bobby” Brown, 72 of Sanford passed away Sunday January 6, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Buffalo Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Robert Smith Brown and Mary Dean Brown. Bobby’s career included working with Siemens Allis, Whitin Roberts Co, Moore Machine and finished his career selling Real Estate. He served the NC National Guard, was a member of First Baptist Church and an avid NC State Fan. He volunteered with the Bread Basket and with Meals on Wheels.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Helen Berry Brown; two sons, Bill Brown and Alex Brown both of Sanford; a sister, Priscilla Conway and husband George of Jacksonville, NC; brother, Rex Brown and wife Jennifer of Sanford; sister in law, Brenda Long of Garner; several nieces and nephews, numerous special cousins, his tennis friends and his loving cat, Lucy.
