Richard Eugene Holford Jr.

Richard Eugene Holford Jr., 72, of Sanford passed away on May 25, 2026. A memorial service will be held at Sanford Freewill Holiness Church on Thursday May 28, 2026 at 3pm.

Richard was born in Ohio to the late Richard Eugene Holford Sr. and Francis Louise Cox Holford. He enjoyed having meals at Tramway Diner, old westerns, and classic cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Holford, son Ronnie Holford, son in law Randy Ziblay, and beloved dog Sam.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Ziblay; son Danny Hall (Sarah); siblings Clyde Franklin Morrow Sr. (Janet), Richanna Holford, and Glenn Morrow (Patricia); grandchildren Holly Gilson, Mehgan Mitchell (Westley), Morgan Proctor (Nick), Aiden Hall, and Hadley Hall; 6 great grandchildren; special aunt Natalie Null; special friend Mary Fortenberry; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
