Richard Alton Diver Jr

Richard Alton Diver Jr., 77 of Sanford passed away Wednesday March 2, 2022. Graveside services will be held at Spivey Family Cemetery at 2pm on Sunday March 6, 2022.

Mr. Diver was born in Lee Co. to the late Richard Alton Sr. and Mattie Mae Spivey. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and cooking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Carolyn Diver, and brother Lawrence Diver.

He is survived by his wife Anna J. Diver; son Richard Alton Diver III (Deborah K.); stepchildren Johnny Epps (Wendy) and Danny Epps (Kim); grandchildren Richard Alton Diver IIII (Jessica), Stacey Killough (Dustin), Aaron Epps, Samantha Epps, and Christopher Epps; siblings Joyce Goins, Mary Ann Crockett (Nathan), Peggy Page, Edward Diver, Bobby Diver (Vickie), and Betty Baker (Ronnie); 4 great grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Whiskey.
