Ricardo Quiñones

Ricardo Quiñones, 23, of Sanford, has passed away. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at St Stephen Catholic Church. 

Ricardo was born in Houston. His family moved to Clarksville, IN, where he attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School. His family then moved to Sanford where he attended Lee County Schools and graduated from Southern Lee High School. He was confirmed at St Stephen Catholic Church.   

Ricardo was known for his sense of humor and generous nature. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. He had the best smile. 

Ricardo is survived by his mother, Cheryl Lynn Quiñones (Simpson) of Clarksville, IN; his father, Fernando Quiñones of Sanford; sisters, Erin Quiñones, Kelly Quiñones Miller (Billy), Ashley Quiñones, and Nicky Quiñones-Martinez (Hector); cousins, Jesse Vaughan (Brooke), Hunter Robertson, Eric Vaughan, and Jaden Vaughan; nephews, Mathew Baggett, Javier Miller, Ethan Wicker, and Ronan Martinez-Quiñones; a niece, Isabella Miller; great nieces, Melanie, Evelyn, and Leila; aunts, Anita Vaughan and Debbie Quiñones; and maternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Simpson (Fairfield, IL).

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
