Phillip Larry Taylor

Phillip “Larry” Taylor, 78 of Sanford passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018.

Mr. Taylor was born in Moore Co, son of the late Elbert Taylor and Lela Reynolds Taylor. Larry was a Veteran of the US Army and owned and operated Capital Business machines in Raleigh for 40 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elbert “Bud” Taylor Jr, and Jerry Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Margaret Smith Taylor; daughters, Brenda T. Upchurch and husband Al of Broadway, and Karen T. Wilkins and husband Russ of Bear Creek; sons, Phillip Taylor of Raleigh and Chris Taylor of Sanford; seven grandchildren, Taylor Upchurch (Kaitlyn), Amanda Cowan (Dan), Matthew Wilkins (Evan), Abby Wilkins, James Taylor (Amy), Heather Neal (Patrick), and Joshua Taylor; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Marshall (Wayne) of Sanford, Doris Keith of Cameron, Carol Thomas (Mike) of Cameron; brothers, Louis Taylor (Pauline) of Greensboro, and Toby Taylor of Vass.
