To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm an employee and fellow co-worker at Estes Express Lines in Charlotte. I'm a diesel mechanic and when I moved to the Charlotte area, Phil was one of the first one's who trained me. I prayed for the "Legend" since he had been out of work. Phil was always a funny guy and took a stance in racing to where he'd love to aggravate me with it. We would always talk about sports but race season was always are go to. I know Petty was his favorite and mine was Earnhardt. It was like Clash of the Titans when we started in on each other. I'm going to miss talking to him and seeing him. My church hear in Concord and my other church in Galax, VA are all sending their thoughts and prayers for you as well in this difficult time.
