Pedro Pablo Navas

Pedro Navas Oliva 89, of Sanford, born October 17, 1931 to Isaac Navas and Obdulia Oliva, passed away after a brief illness at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Stephens Catholic Church on Saturday October 24, 2020 at 1PM.

Mr. Navas is survived by his wife of 60 years, Felicitas (Maria) Navas; his sons Dr. Rolando Navas (Sylvia) of Honduras; Pablo Navas (Fatima) of Sanford; Arnoldo Gonzalez (Balsamina); daughters Mary Rios (Eduardo) ;Leticia Garcia (Carlos) all of Sanford; Willie Navas (Paula) of Fla. And Norma Vargas (Carlos) of Fla. Grandchildren: Erika Fuentes, Rolando Navas Jr., Diana Davis, Lucy Banegas, Jasmine Rubio, Gabriela Navas, Stephanie Garcia, Jessica Navas, Astrid Rios, Jonathan Navas, Carlos Vargas, Jessica Roman, Kenny Navas, Brandon Navas, Willie Navas, Anthony Navas and Jair Navas. Great Grandchildren: Giana Charco, Noah Davis, Mia Navas, Leonardo Navas, Asher Navas, Harlo Navas, Joseph Navas, Lauren Navas, Benicio Roman, Alicia Roman, Chloe Vargas and Claire Vargas.

Pedro enjoyed life to the fullest, spent many hours with his family cooking out, enjoying everyone including his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has a love for soccer.

A visitation will be held at Rogers Memorial Chapel on Friday October 23, 2020 from 2Pm till 7Pm.
