Paul Henry Compton

Paul H. Compton, 70 of Cameron passed away Saturday October 17, 2026. 

The family will greet friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Monday (10/26/2026) at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Paul was born in Indiana, a son of the late Paul L Compton, and Bessie Compton. he was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Alan Compton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, traveling to the beach and mountains, sports and was a tremendous UNC fan. Paul loved working and always had to be busy doing something.

Surviving is his wife, Rhonda H Compton; sons Paul Compton (Lora), Christopher Compton (Jessica), daughter Cindy Higginbotham (Lemar) and son Houston Compton; grandchildren, Kelsea, Taylor, Kaleb, Kadence, Victoria, Brianna, and Lane; great grandchildren, Lillie, Ella Mae, and Silas. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
