Patrick Earl Moffat

Patrick Earl Moffat, 78, of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away on September 12, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 26 at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home. The family will be available to greet attendees at 2pm. The service will begin at 3pm.

Pat was born on August 24, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, to Raymond & Lucille Moffat. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army. He will be remembered for his mischievous sense of humor & the love he had for his family & Jesus, his Savior.

Pat is survived by his wife, Jane Seagle Moffat; his three children, Lisa Moffat-Markowski & her husband, Charlie, James Moffat & his partner, Fern Lopez, & Alan Moffat & his wife, Denise; His five grandchildren, Katlyn Barlow & her husband, Josh, Nicole Moffat, Caleb Moffat & his wife, Lizbeth, Keagan Moffat & Joshua Moffat; his two great-grandchildren, Alaric Moffat & Eliora Jane Moffat. Pat was preceded in death by his sister, Gwen Richter, & her husband, Bob.
