Pamela White Hunter

Pamela White Hunter72, of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away surrounded by family on the morning of September 6th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was preceded in her death by her parents Claude and Henrietta White and her sister Claudette White.

Pam loved the beach. She enjoyed collecting sea shells and taking long walks on the beach after her retirement. Before retirement she taught at West Lee middle school then later found her true calling teaching English at Central Carolina Community College.

She is survived by her children daughter Opal Parten and son Matthew Parten; grandchildren Seth Murphy and Meredith Murphy; brothers Gary White and Joe White ; and several nieces and nephews.
