Ossie William Hinote Jr.

Ossie William “Bill” Hinote Jr., 80, of Sanford passed away on Friday October 11, 2024. No services are planned at this time.

He was born in Detroit to the late Ossie William Hinote Sr. and Lucette Cote Hinote. He served in the Air Force from 1962 until 1966. He was a member of the Moose, Legion, and VFW Auxiliary, as well as a Life Member of the Elks for 59 years. He learned welding at the age of 16 and continued building the skill throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Hinote.

He is survived by children Ossie William Hinote III, Jared Hinote (Stacie), and Katherine Hinote; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and sisters Joyce Hinote, Carol Hinote, and Judy Hinote.
