Nannie Hicks Knight
March 9, 1933 — April 2, 2022
Nannie Hicks Knight, 89 of Sanford passed away Saturday April 2, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Brush Creek Baptist Church cemetery, in Bear Creek.
Nannie was born in Chatham Co, a daughter of the late Frank Hicks and Sally Jane Foushee Hicks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow “Pat” Knight; siblings, Janie Newell, Myrtle Arnette, Buster Hicks, Clyde Hicks, Isaac Hicks, Claude Hicks, Preston Hicks, and Ed Hicks.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her sister, Edna McLeod; brother, Babe Hicks (Eva); many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Tuesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
