Nancy Dennis Hamm, 76 of Sanford peacefully passed away Friday November 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday at St Luke United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamm was born in Wake Co, daughter of the late Buford Edmond Dennis and Emma Marie Hunsucker Dennis. Most of Nancy’s career was spent teaching music from Selma to Fielddale, VA to Washington, NC, to Wallace, NC and Sanford. She spent many years volunteer teaching in the ESOL program with kids from all over the world.
Nancy loved the time spent with her family and especially time with her grandchildren and volunteering at their schools. She was an adventurer who loved to travel (anywhere\anytime). She was not just a wife, mother, and grandmother, but, a singer, musician, sister, a generous volunteer, and just a sweet lady who always was a lot of fun to be around.
