Minnie Mae Spivey Spencer

Minnie Mae Spivey Spencer, 82 of Sanford passed away Wednesday September 6, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday (9/9/2023) at the Spivey Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Spencer was born in Lee Co, a daughter of the late James Madison Spivey and Martha Lee Shields Spivey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R Spencer; a son, Michael Kevin Spencer; siblings, Ruby S Seagroves, JW Spivey, and David Leon Spivey. Minnie was a 1959 graduate of Greenwood School, worked at the TLC Home for many years and was a in home aid for many years.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her son, Douglas Spencer (Susy) of Raleigh; sister, Lucille Sova (Don) and a brother, Henry Lester Spivey.
