Michael R. Wells

Michael R. Wells, 61 of Sanford peacefully passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019. A service Celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 11:00am Saturday at Cool Springs Baptist Church. The family will greet friends Saturday beginning at 10:00am in the Narthex.

Mike was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Clifton Wells and Sara Josephine Ellington. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church, Sanford Elks Lodge #1679, and retired from Coty after 25 years of service.

Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Schaub Wells; daughter, Halle Wells Zockoll and husband Luke of Raleigh; siblings, Joy Nordon (Lewis) of Lillington, Clifton Barney Wells (Betsy) and Richard Wells (Kay) all of Sanford; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kent Bullard Scholarship Fund at Cool Springs Baptist Church, 1313 Cool Springs Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
