Michael Joseph McGinty

Michael Joseph McGinty, 73, of Sanford passed away Monday August 1, 2022. No services at this time.

Mr. McGinty was born in Ohio a son of the late Joseph McGinty and Margaret Mary Siener. He was a top-notch craftsman who enjoyed working with wood, stained glass, and puzzles. He was a member of the Sanford Car Club and enjoyed fishing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Fortesque and Rebecca Montowski; and brother-in-law Pete Montowski.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Gail McGinty; sons Kevin Michael McGinty (Melinda Murphy), and Daniel Patrick McGinty (Melissa); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Robert McGinty (Mary Ann), and David McGinty (Flori); sisters Margaret Cook, and Rachel Glissman.
