Michael Wayne Gonella Sr.

Michael Wayne Gonella Sr., 70 of Sanford passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Gonella was born in Lee Co. to the late Franze Joseph Gonella and Cornelia Stone Gonella. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Patrick G. Gonella. Mike was a lifetime member, and PER of, the Sanford Elks Lodge #1679.  He loved his family and fishing.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Cynthia P. Gonella; daughter Maigan Gonella Shrum (Shevais); son Michael Wayne Gonella Jr.; grandchildren Rylan Gonella, Harper Gonella, and Carson Shrum; and sister Kay Gonella Bolton (Neal).
