Mary Lou Talder Klopfenstein

Mary Lou Klopfenstein of Seattle passed away peacefully on August 19th surrounded by her family.

Mary Lou was born on May 29, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Lorain (OH) High School, Duke University and the Katharine Gibbs School.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) William Talder (1925 – 1991), her husband H. Wayne Klopfenstein (1925 – 2017), and her parents Louis Fulton Sattele and Mary (McIlvain) Sattele.

She is survived by her children Bill (Joan), Mary Jo and David (Myra) Talder and her grandchildren Jessica, Stephanie and Robert Talder.

A family service will be held in North Carolina where Mary Lou will rest with Bob. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Harvest of Seattle.

The Talder family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the ladies of Joshua’s Covenant Care of Seattle whose loving care of Mary Lou will not be forgotten.
