Mary Almond Lineberry

Mary Almond Lineberry (59) passed away Saturday, April 15th, 2023, after a long battle with kidney disease. A funeral service will be held Friday April 21, 2023, at Cool Springs Baptist Church at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm at Cool Springs Baptist Church on Thursday April 20, 2023.

She was born in High Point, North Carolina on January 14, 1964. She was a loving daughter to Carrie Boyles Almond and John William Almond.

Mary was a waitress at Mrs. Lacy's for eighteen years. She loved to take care of others and was a selfless soul. Everyone knew Mary for her spunky sense of humor and her hearty laugh.

Mary was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church for her entire life. She was very involved with the youth group when her children were growing up. In addition, she was a Sunday school teacher. She loved her church and enjoyed when her entire family would come together to attend.

Mary was a beautiful, compassionate, attentive wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Terry and Mary were married for nearly forty years. Their marriage set a foundation for future generations to learn from and inspire to be like. She devoted much of her time to her children’s sports events. She was a second mother to many in the community. Terry and Mary’s house was a revolving door where all were welcomed.

Mary cherished the time spent with her family. She loved to spend her time in the kitchen preparing the most delicious meals for her family. One of her favorite titles she held was Grandma. She adored her grandchildren and the memories they made.

Mary’s impact on the community will be cherished for years to come.

She is survived by her husband Terry Lineberry; daughter Caradys Lineberry; son Jon Lineberry(fiancée, Jerrica Naylor) ; daughter in law Jessica Patterson Lineberry; grandchildren Marley Lineberry and Willow Lineberry; mother Carrie Boyles Almond; sister Debi A. Lancaster (husband, Jay); brother David Almond; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father John W. Almond and son Jacob Ryan Lineberry.

The Lineberry family would like to sincerely thank everyone who has prayed and lent a helping hand over the last few years during Mary’s journey.
