Mary Alice Dickens

Mary Alice Dickens, 90, of Sanford passed away on Friday November 25, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday December 4, 2022, at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickens was born in Georgia to the late Hoyt Epps and Annie Mae Wall. She was a devoted private CNA that had a great sense of humor and loved pottery, flowers and sewing. She especially loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Phil Dickens; husband, AC Godwin; son Michael Godwin; brother James Epps; and sisters Hattie Epps and Ann Epps.

Mrs. Dickens is survived by her son Rocky Godwin (Lisa); daughter Teresa Womack (Terry); grandchildren Jeromie Wells (Kerri), Zachery Godwin (Katie) and Christian Godwin (Mona); great grandchildren Evan Wells, Connor Wells, Jackson Wells, and Ashlyn Womack; and special best friend Carol Sutton.
