Martha Evans McLeod

Martha Louise Evans McLeod, 86 of Sanford peacefully passed away Monday May 20, 2024. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Friday (5/24/24) at White Hill Presbyterian Church.

 

Mrs. McLeod was born in Davie Co a daughter of the late James Lloyd Evans and Mae Whitley Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Duncan McLeod Jr and siblings, Bill Evans, Jerry Sue Evans, Betty Evans Smith, and Edna Evans Cope. Mrs. McLeod was a member of White Hill Presbyterian Church since 1966, a Registered Nurse, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing and needlework, and playing Yahtzee.

 

Mrs. McLeod is survived by her daughter, Cindy Dianne McLeod McAuley (Tommy Lee Jones); son Charles David “Chuck” McLeod (Kimberly Ann); grandchildren, Michael McAuley (Rachel), Megan McAuley Robison (John), Michelle McAuley Dehart (Eddie), Caitlyn McLeod Reese (Sully), Heather Taylor (Keith), and Jacob Marshburn (Sierra); great grandchildren Crew Reece, Lexie Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Harvey Taylor, Willow Rose Marshburn, Madison McAuley, Eleanor McAuley, Piper Robison, and Gemma Robison; and brother Harold Ray Evans.

 

The family will greet friends following the graveside in the fellowship hall.
