Mabel McDuffie

Mabel Rosser McDuffie, 80 of Sanford passed away Monday April 13, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McDuffie was born Harnett Co, a daughter of the late Flynn Robert Rosser and Catherine Black Rosser. She was preceded in death by sisters JoAnn Griffin and Vivian Wooten. Mabel was a graduate of Benhaven High School and attended Lees–McRae College. For many years she worked at Trion and later worked and, retired from H & R Block. She was a member of St Luke United Methodist Church, the Old North State Golf Assn, and the Sanford Ladies Golf League. Mabel loved her Church, her Family and her golf.

Mrs. McDuffie is survived by her husband, Hayden W. McDuffie; sisters, Dorcas Akers of VA, Mary Catherine Thomas, and Lillian Barrett each of Sanford; a brother, Bobby Rosser of Sanford; many nieces and nephews.
