York, parents Carey and Inez, brother Carey Campbell “T” Howard, sister Jackie Pearce and brother-in-law Hank Voznick.

Voznick, Etta H. Love (Jimmy Sr.), brother Larry Howard (Peggy); many nieces and nephews.

After leaving the family farm where she proudly worked the tobacco fields as she grew up, Lucille began work at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home where she met her beloved husband of 73 years, Harold.

Lucille was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, dedicated to the choir where she sang for over 50 years. She served on many committees, taught Sunday School, and led Bible studies. She was named “Elder Emeritus” for exceptional services; she was a faithful servant of the Lord.

Lucille also was a “Proud Yellow Dog Democrat” working tirelessly for the party. After her retirement, Lucille decided to travel the world around, visiting many countries with her sisters, her close friends and her brother-in-law, Hank.
