Linda Campbell McDonald

Linda Campbell McDonald, 79, of Sanford peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday September 28, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025, at Mann’s Chapel Cemetery at 2pm.

Linda was a daughter of the late John Raymond Campbell and Nina Ruth Falls Hines. She was raised in the Sanford area and was a practicing cosmetologist and seamstress for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael McDonald; stepdaughter Michelle Long, sister Ava Campbell; and brothers Johnny Campbell, Doug Campbell, and Buddy Campbell.

She is survived by her children Sherry Arnold (Joe), Doug Bolitho (Barbara), Rena Purdy (Jerry), Shannon McDonald (Jennifer), and Scott McDonald (Serena); 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; and sister Faye Shedd (Bernie).
