Lilla Waddell Williams

Lilla Waddell Williams, 79 of Sanford passed away Wednesday April 19, 2023. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday April 29^th at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Williams was born in Harnett Co, daughter of the late Joseph Clayton Waddell and Clara Lee McDonald Waddell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Wood, and her sister, Carolyn W. Holder. Lilla loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, and traveling, especially on her beach outings.

Lilla is survived by her daughter, Cindy Strickland (Terry); brother, David Waddell (Kay) of Bolivia; grandchildren, Ryan Strickland and Austin Strickland; and her best friend, Mavis Harper.

The family will greet friends Saturday beginning at 10:00 am at the Church.
