My condolences to the Smith family. Lewis was a great man who worked and nurtured a lot of people. During his life in the grocery business. I know you will mourn his loss, but please find comfort in knowing he will always be with you, looking down from heaven. I will keep you all in my prayers as you lay this great man to rest.

Lewis was one of the greatest men that I ever knew..As a young man just getting started in the grocery business I had the great pleasure to work for this man. He took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew.I worked for Lewis for about seven years until Winn Dixie went under and closed all the stores in North Carolina and then after a brief break from the grocery business I ran into Lewis at Food Lion and he got me a job with them and I worked for him for about two years.Like I said in the beginning he was one of the greatest men I ever knew, but I know that he is in a better place now and not suffering any more. To his family I would like to extend my upmost and sincere thoughts and prayers to you He will be greatly missed. May god bless all of you.
