Laura Holder

Laura Mayne Holder, 77 of Sanford passed away Wednesday October 15, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Swann Station Baptist Church. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 pm Monday. Burial will follow at Cameron Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Holder was born in Lee Co daughter of the late Robert Jordan Mayne Jr, and Elsie Lee Lamm Mayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Daniel Holder, her daughter, Andrea Holder, and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Mayne. Laura was a woman of strong faith and a longtime member of Swann Station Baptist Church. For many years she operated Pretty Paws pet grooming.

Mrs. Holder is survived by her son-in-law, Brent Weaver (Jamie); granddaughter, Carleigh Weaver; sisters in law, Nancy H. McDuffie, Polly H. Bouldin, Alexander Daniel “Danny” Holder Jr (Suzan), Tommy E. Holder (Tessia).
