Larry Phillip Lloyd, 75, of Sanford passed away Wednesday March 16, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The graveside service will be held in the Church if inclement weather 

Larry was born in Lee Co., to the late Phillip Folger Lloyd and Laura Eunice Lemons Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd was a dedicated member of Center United Methodist Church. He was a terminal manager for Gaines Motor Lines for 29 faithful years. He enjoyed gardening and piddling around in the yard. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Johnny Lloyd and Steven Oscar Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Butner Lloyd; son Phillip Lloyd (Rhonda); daughter Kim Lloyd Crosby; grandchildren Rachel Lloyd, Andrew Crosby, and Wesley Crosby; brothers Donald Lloyd (Debbie) and Vernon Lloyd (Susan); sister-in-law Brenda Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends following the graveside service.
