Larry William Freeman

Larry W. Freeman of Elizabethtown, formerly of Cameron passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Freeman was born in Lee Co. He was a Veteran of the National Guard, a longtime truck driver, worked in the Asphalt business for many years and retired from the Melbourne FL Airport. Larry was preceded in death by his father, William Neil “Nehi” Freeman, and a son, David.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Williams Freeman; daughters, Annette Freeman (Robert Collins), Laura Kimmes (Thomas) of Sackets Harbour, NY, Tammy Gunter (William) Charlotte, and Patti Pitts (Arnold) of Elizabethtown; his mother, Lois Morris Freeman of Sanford; sisters, Ruth Adams (Tom) of Columbia, SC, and Brenda Mann (Stan) of Sanford; brothers, Wayne Freeman (Gail) of Sanford, Donnie Freeman of Sanford, and William Freeman (Ann), of Hendersonville; 12 grandchildren and 22  great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends following the Memorial service and other times at 313 Hatteras Ln, Sanford.
