Kevin Craig Dodson

Kevin Craig Dodson, 60 of Sanford, passed away Wednesday December 2, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at the Dodson Family Cemetery.

Kevin was born in Reidsville, NC and raised in Sanford.  He was a current Lee County Commissioner, former Police Officer, owned and operated Carolina Firearms where he trained people on gun safety and their 2nd Amendment rights. Kevin was a true Christian man who studied the Bible.

Kevin is survived by his sons, Kevin chase Dodson (Brooke) of Sanford, Matthew Brent Dodson of FL, and Patrick Kyle Dodson of Sanford; two grandchildren, Jackson and Kayden; his parents, J. Craig Dodson and Patricia C. Dodson of Sanford; siblings, Jeaneane Ashley (Kenny) of Sanford, Eric Dodson (Charity) of Sanford, and Chastity Ogburn (Jay) of Newland, NC, and preceded in death by a sister, Lori Jill Dodson.

There will be no formal visitation but, friends are welcomed to stop by the funeral home to pay respects Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm,
