Kenneth Armstrong Allen, Jr

Kenneth A. Allen Jr. age 71 of Sanford NC, originally form Camden NJ. Was called home by his lord and savior on May 23rd, 2018. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday May 29th at the Lemon Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

“Ken” Allen Jr. was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Davis Allen, and father, Kenneth A. Allen Sr. Aunts, uncles, and stepdaughter Cheryl Keene-Douglas; who all welcomed him with open arms.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra G. Allen, step daughter Patricia Lynn Keene-Hedgepeth, two son-n-laws Tremayne S. Hedgepeth Sr. and Frank Douglas Jr, and his beloved pets Hershey and Yeller.

Ken was retired from the Army and National Guard, to which he was the most proud of. He was an avid model car collector and loved to read several novels at one time. He was the happiest, when he was cooking for his friends and family.
