Julianne Cooke Ballenger Desjarlais

Julianne Cooke Ballenger Desjarlais, 67 of Sanford passed away Saturday September 16, 2023.

Julianne was born in Catawba Co, daughter of the late Harold Cooke and Susan Miller Cooke. She served as a Speech Therapist for 31 years in SC and NC school systems, loved movies and had a passion for 60’s music. She was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Cooke and John Cooke.

Mrs. Desjarlais is survived by her husband, Dr. Edward A. Desjarlais; sons, Kevin Ballenger, Cody Ballenger, and John Ballenger; sister, Lori Cooke Watson (Steve); grandchildren, Michael and Grayson Ballenger.
