Joyce Ford

Joyce L. Ford, 86 of Cameron passed away Tuesday October 29, 2019. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00am Friday at White Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Ford was a daughter of the late Robert Frank Lemon and Lula Margaret Cameron Lemon. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Nannie, Gladys, Fannie, Louise, Jean, Edward, Elmer and Charlie. Joyce was the Valedictorian of the Greenwood High School Class of 1950 and a member of White Hill Presbyterian Church. She met her husband Willie while he was stationed at Ft Bragg, on a double date and were married in December of 1952. Mrs. Ford loved animals, being a homemaker, sewing and working crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband, Willie Edward Ford; three daughters, Brenda Ford Baker (Neil) of White Hill, Kaye Ford Morgan of White Hill, and Darlene Ford of Sanford; granddaughter, Kacey Morgan of Boone; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Thursday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
