Joseph Edward Garner

Joseph Edward Garner, Carthage, NC, passed away Thursday 13, 2018. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday September 23, 2018 at Euphronia Presbyterian Church.

Joe was born in Moore Co, best known as a man with a heart of gold who never met a stranger.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, helping and caring for others and sharing his bountiful garden with others. He was a wonderful father and husband.

Joe is survived by his wife, Tracy Goins Garner; daughters, Alexis Garner and Lesley Garner; step daughter, Sonya Carden (Jarvis); step grandson, Noah Carden; parents, Ricky and Sherry Angel Garner; maternal grandparents Frank and Janet Angel; sisters, Christy Pritt (Roger) and April Garner (Chad Willett); brother, John MacIntosh; nieces Abby Pritt and Ruby Lynne Willett; and nephew, Emir Menendez. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Avery and Fannie Lemon Key, and Charlie Hugh Angel and Louise Osborne Angel; and paternal grandparents, John and Maggie Garner.

The family will greet friends following the service and other times at 423 Garner Road, Sanford, NC.
