In Loving Memory of Jose Tovar Moreno

My grandfather wasn’t just a great grandpa; he was also a devoted father, a loving husband, and an amazing friend to anyone in need. Known for his generosity, he was always quick to help others and never expected anything in return. A hard worker all his life, he even tried to continue working after becoming ill. His laughter, warm heart, and sense of humor filled every room he entered.

Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with cirrhosis and made a complete lifestyle change to keep fighting. Even through complications with a blood infection and his ongoing illness, he showed incredible strength and determination. On the night of July 15th, surrounded by love, he peacefully completed his journey.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and love will live on in all of us who had the privilege to know and love him.

Mi abuelo no solo fue un gran abuelo; también fue un padre devoto, un esposo amoroso y un amigo increíble para cualquiera que necesitara su ayuda. Era conocido por su generosidad, siempre dispuesto a tender la mano sin esperar nada a cambio. Trabajó arduamente toda su vida e incluso intentó seguir trabajando después de enfermar. Su risa, su gran corazón y su sentido del humor llenaban cada lugar al que iba.

A principios de este año, le diagnosticaron cirrosis y realizó un cambio completo en su estilo de vida para seguir luchando. A pesar de las complicaciones por una infección en la sangre y su enfermedad, demostró una fuerza y determinación increíbles. En la noche del 15 de julio, rodeado de amor, partió en paz.

Deja a su amada esposa, tres hijos, nueve nietos y una bisnieta. Su legado de trabajador, generosidad y amor vivirá en todos los que tuvimos el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo.
