John Joseph "Jack" Chute

John Joseph “Jack” Chute Jr, 83 of Sanford passed away Monday January 29, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday March 17th at the Carolina Trace Country Club.

Mr.Chute was born in Detroit, MI, son of the late John Joseph Chute and Alice Brooks Chute. Jack was a Veteran of the US Army serving most of his time in Germany. He was a volunteer Fireman with the Carolina Trace Fire Dept. for 20 years six of which he served as President. He loved playing golf, enjoyed reading and was a beloved father, husband and loved his pets especially his cat Jazz.

Mr. Chute is survived by his wife Jobie Fletcher Chute; son Tim John Chute (Tammie) of Troy, MI; daughter, Jenie Jo Chute of Sanford; three granddaughters, Shelby Chute Morrison, Kristie Chute and Melissa Chute.
