Jerline Thomas

Jerline Locklear Thomas, 84, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday February 4, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 9, 2026, at 3pm Center United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 2pm. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Jerline was born a daughter of the late George Rubith Locklear and Christine Locklear. She loved cooking, gardening, yardwork, serving at her church and being helpful to her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Ray Thomas; son Harold Ray Thomas Jr.; and siblings Fuller, Lois, Ruby Neal, Marshall, Hairl, George, Bristol, Wanoa, Roxie, and James Earl.

She is survived by her daughters JoAnn Thomas, Wendy Smith (Grant), and Jennifer Thomas; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother RL Locklear (Rosie Mae).
