James Numan "Jimmy" Knight

James Numan “Jimmy” Knight, 54 of Sanford passed away Sunday evening, May 29, 2016. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Friday June 10, 2016 at Lemon Springs Baptist Church.

Jimmy was a native of Lee Co, a member of the Sanford Moose Lodge and loved fishing.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Mary Hiles Knight; three sons, Joseph Knight, Matthew Knight and David Doss; father, Thomas Branton Knight of Pittsboro; mother, Brenda Cox Eddy of WVa; a sister, Jessica Knight O’Hara (Richard) of Pittsboro.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm Friday before the service.
