James Conrad Kelly

James Conrad Kelly Sr, 70 of Sanford passed away at home with his family surrounding him on Thursday, July 20, 2017. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 until 4:00pm Saturday at the Westlake Club House.

Conrad was born in Lee County and was the son of the late Sion Harrington Kelly and Nell Wicker Kelly. He was an avid sportsman, had a passion for his vintage cars, enjoyed saltwater fishing, and loved his family dearly. He retired from the Lee County School System after 30 years of service as a Physical Education Teacher and Truant Officer.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife Linda K. Kelly; son James Kelly Jr and wife Christy; daughter, Elizabeth Kelly Smith and husband Justin; sister, Kathy Kelly Spivey and husband Aubrey; grandchildren, Bruce Kelly, Olivia Kelly, Waett Kelly, Alexandra Daly, Hudson Smith, and Camden Smith.
