Helen Florence Hegmann Lemmey, 78 of Sanford passed away Monday July 17, 2017. Funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held in in Brooklyn, NY at a later date.
Helen was born October 1, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles Hegmann and Helen Quinn Hegmann. She was preceded in death by a son Robert Messana (Lisa) and grandson Robert Henkel, Jr.
Mrs. Lemmey is survived by her husband, Herbert Lemmey; children Steven, Doreen (Bob), Denise (Joe); a doting grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to two.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm Wednesday prior to the Funeral.
